Our Purpose

The MMOA was founded and is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are comprised of men and women dedicated to promoting the welfare of basketball, its players officials, administrators and spectators. 

MMOA provides the highest level of professionalism and quality officiating to basketball programs throughout the state of Wisconsin and neighboring states.

Our Mission
The MMOA, a basketball-focused, officials' association of independent contractors, was founded to address deficiencies, inadequacies and exclusions in the assigning process which denied officials of color equal access to and equal consideration for officiating opportunities locally, regionally and statewide. 

Our mission is to identify, recruit nurture, train, develop and mentor officials of color, in particular, and others in general. Further, it is our mission to create and seek out
officiating opportunities for our members at whatever level they choose to pursue. We are committed to securing opportunities for our members as fulfillment of our stated mission.
